Your Half Year Birthday!

Corbin-can you believe you are 6 months old?? This mama is sure in shock over the fact you are such a big boy now! SO, what are you up to these days? Let me jot a few things down so your old mom doesn't forget when you are wanting to know one day!
Your 6 month stats: wt: 17 lbs 6 oz, ht: 27 1/4 in., head size: 17 7/8 in.

• You can sit by yourself for about 1 minute at a time!
• You are going to be crawling very very soon-right now you get up on your hands and knees and rock back and forth with the biggest grin on your face! You are going places soon my dear little man!

• You eat solid food now! (well, technically cereal since 4 months and you started fruits and veggies on month 5.) Your favorites include: applesauce, rice cereal mixed with a fruit, pears, sweet potatoes and green beans Your NOT favorites include: sweet peas and plain oatmeal/cereal. You gag when we try those. :(

• You belly laugh when mommy tickles your belly. It is the cutest thing ever! You also laugh when you "fly" through the air. You are such a joyful, happy little boy!
• You are very interested in people. When you meet someone new (or just someone you love, like your aunt Jenny)you give them a short and sweet little smile and then you stare at them so closely that they become convinced your looking into their soul! Its pretty funny! P.S. This is a picture of you staying up past midnight on your 1st New Years Eve! And checking out your future MIL, Jenny!We did everything trying to get you to look at the camera to no avail! :)

You sleep pretty good, usually about 4-6 hours at a time, unless you have a cold and then you wake up about every 2 hours. And unfortunately you spent half of November and half of December with a cold. It was sad for us to watch you be so congested, but you smiled all the way through it.

• You have decided you like to shop with mommy. Which makes me super happy! You love looking at all the people and things in stores and you love looking out the window during car rides.
•  Its getting harder to take our "monthly" picture of you! You have alot of energy, very curious and love grabbing the sign and trying to eat the paper. Here is an example of what I'm talking about!

You, my dear Corbin, are the biggest blessing I've ever received from God (besides your daddy! he's pretty special too!) I love you more than I can say and I'm looking forward to another month of "firsts" with you!
